Rental car services are available at both airports, including Alamo, Hertz, Enterprise, Thrifty, and more. Amara Cay Resort is also about 1.5 hours from Key West International Aiport in Key West, Florida—another option for travelers flying into the area.

Is Amara Cay Resort located on the beach?
Yes, we have a private beach for guests to enjoy. The beach includes hammocks, thatched huts, and a pier—as well as stunning ocean views
What other amenities are offered at the hotel?
In addition to the beach, we offer a variety of other amenities for guests to enjoy, including a pool, fitness center, complimentary shuttle (within a four-mile radius), complimentary parking, a Tiki Bar and so much more.
Is your pool heated?
Yes, the Amara Cay pool is heated.
What is your docking fee?
Our docking fee prices are available on the Marina page. The fee also includes the use of our boat ramp. Guests must stay at the resort to use our dock, and no jet skis are allowed.
Do all rooms have mini refrigerators and safes?
All of our rooms have mini refrigerators and safes. Our suites have both mini refrigerators and microwaves. If you need a microwave, it can be requested through our front desk.
What kind of coffee makers are in the rooms?
You can enjoy an uplifting start to your day with a Keurig Coffee maker in each of our guest rooms with Green Mountain Coffee Pods.
What is your resort fee and what does it include?
Our resort fee is $40 per night, plus tax, and includes In-room bottled water, access to the fitness center, high-speed wireless Internet, pool towel service, parking, bicycles, kayaks, paddleboards, lawn games (basketball, ping pong, corn hole), and shuttle service within a four-mile radius.
Is your hotel dog-friendly?
Guests bringing dogs will be charged a $50 nonrefundable fee per pet per day, a maximum of two pets per room. A portion of the proceeds is donated to the Upper Keys Humane Society, Inc. Please note that if your dog is not kept in a cage or if it is left alone in your room, housekeeping will not service the room. We also do not allow dogs on the beach or in the pool area.
The Keys are beautiful and I'd love to photograph the resort. Do you allow drones?
We do not allow drones at our resort.
Does the hotel have a spa?
We do not have a spa on property, but there are two-day spas nearby, Blu Bamboo Spa (305-664-9342) and Ciao Bella Spa (305-664-4558).
Do you allow smoking?
Smoking is allowed in designated outdoor spaces: outside the Tiki Bar as well as the far Northern and Southern outside areas of the hotel.
Can I send a package to the hotel? It will arrive before I do.
